If You’re Looking for Creative Inspiration

September 24, 2008

In between sick spells this summer, we have been making small improvements here and there around the house. The main project was painting our downstairs living area. We did one whole wall in chalk board paint for the kiddos, and I have to say I am very pleased with the outcome…

That being said, this project was brought to my attention and I’m not sure I would want to tackle it at this point, but it’s kind of cool and definitely cost efficient. I think I’ll stick with the chalkboard wall for now. Go ahead and take a quick peek. You’ll be impressed!

One more thing…here is a lovely site with lovely art and a lovely blog, all from the talented Kyle Buttram. If you’re ever in the Greenville, SC area, you should make an effort to see it first hand.

Wow! The Sharpie decorating is pretty amazing! Looks like your little one is headed in that direction too! 😉

Funny, my brother in-law has a art studio in downtown Greenville too. I was just there a few months ago.

Is that what’s going on? I thought we just had anarchist children. Sheesh, what a relief.

Is anyone going to mention that Anne is clearly a genius? Seriously impressed with that writing…

Do you think it would work on concrete block? (Ha!) Maybe I just shouldn’t ask that question but instead just invite Anne and Josiah over.
